lovely comfy bed, great location 10-20 mins walk from all major sites. Generous breakfast with a bit of variety. clean rooms and plenty of storage. lovely park opposite and only a few mins donw hill to bars and resteraunts, then on a few mor mins to city centre. lots of info in lobby on what to see etc, and staff kindly called a taxi for us on lst day to get to station. If you are getting train try to get off at alamedia, rather than mian city station, as it;s literally 5 mins away!

A great basic hotel in a good location which was perfect for our needs. The room was small but comfortable and bed and pillows were really comfy. Loved being able to open the window a small amount at night for proper fresh air coming in. It was also quiet overnight. The “capsule” bathroom was quite compact but was fine for us, providing we took it in turns to go in and out! The staff were all fabulous, very helpful and eager to please. We didn’t have breakfast there, so can’t comment, but enjoyed drinks in the evening which were served with complimentary crisps or popcorn which was a really nice touch.

The location of the motel was handy for links to the main routes and whilst in an industrial area it didn't feel like it. The restaurant had a good selection of food and drinks and the staff were really pleasant. There was a good choice for breakfast. The rooms were clean and the beds comfy and had good air conditioning.

Staff were always friendly and helpful. We were able to check in early and leave our bags after checkout during the day. The room was nice and quiet. The bathroom was surprisingly large and the shower in particular was spacious. We appreciated the option extra pillows on the shelves in the room

Perfect location the city is easily accessable by foot, we were travelling with our boxer dog and the hotel accommodation was perfect. There is a park with a dog play area opposite the hotel, but remember to keep your dog on the lead until you get to it. And close by to the dog area there is a cafe which was perfect for a beer or two. Plenty of tapas bars to go out and enjoy towards the city. Although in the summer it's very hot so leave until after 7 ish to take your dog out with you as the pavements become more shaded. The hotel is typically Ibis very dog friendly, the breakfast is absolutely fine for fuelling up for your travels. Be aware if you have a large vehicle, the parking is underground we got there early so that might have saved us a problem, we were driving a mitsubishi warrior but did manage to park no problem. The staff were all very polite👍

The location is amazing: big park is 1min away (which is perfect for a dog, has a huge dog park inside) and the city center starts within 5min walk from the hotel. Hotel has parking in -2 and -3 level, there is a lift that connects parking to lobby and to rooms. We found spot easily, but after 21 it was full. There are 2 supermarkets within 1min. The breakfast is amazing, it was totally worth the money (early breakfast 4am-6:30am, regular breakfast 7am-10am on weekdays and 7am-12pm on weekend). The room is clean, all amenities work well. It was very quiet to sleep at night. A lot of guests with dogs, including us, so there was a water bowl at the lobby and the stuff gave us some treats. Close to train stop Salamanca-Alamedilla, so , easy to find when coming by train: a big plus. Early checkin:11:30 a.m.; v friendly helpful lady at reception didn't blink an eye, because a room was ready- even at that time on a Sunday. Bed great; view of monastery, great; bathroom/shower capsule- great: roomy shower for Spain; windows can open- great; cheery atmosphere everywhere-great. Incl. breakfast had a huge assortment - could please almost everyone.

We’ve used this hotel several times because we travel with dogs - they are very dog friendly and are close to a park - and it’s convenient for the Plaza Mayor. It’s functional and gives us what we need for a 1 night stay. It also has an underground car park which is great for us, as the car is packed with stuff, so the security is ideal.
